SAFIS eTRIPS/mobile Version 2 update released

On Monday, June 7, 2021 the Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP) released the newest version of eTRIPS/mobile v2 to the stores. This update includes a number of new features and improvements and new features that improve flexibility for the partners and the user.

NEW FEATURE

  • The user can now cancel a trip notification. This is available only when a trip report has not started.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • The display of additional questions for Highly Migratory Species (HMS) has been refined. Questions are displayed based on species and disposition: kept or discarded (fewer questions).
  • Required questions may be left blank in moving from page or section. They must be filled in prior to submission to avoid an error. This allows data entry on the water to enter effort and catch and then return to enter required fields such as total fuel used, that may not be known at the beginning of a trip.

The newest version of eTRIPS/mobile v2 is now available to download in the Google Play Store, the Apple Store and the Windows Store.
